The elements {Part 1}

"I always thought water and fire don't get along look like you're special."I giggled."Cute sneeze,by the way."

((I added some information on the gods and the elements cause I can.Look at the begining :3))

Sayuri blushed and shyly answered:''I-I-I'ts not cute at a-all!'' Sayuri turns around and sneezes again and she became red again. ''I think I might have caught a cold. Heh. A fire user catching a cold kinda funny!'' Sayuri giggles a little and sneezes again. ''So yeah. One more class and then I have detention...''

"I think It's very cute..sorry if it makes you feel uncomfortable"I looked at the ground sad and blushing from feeling guilty.

Sayuri trys to comfort Beato:'' Don't feel guilty! Many people say my sneezing is cu-'' on the word cute she was cut off because she passed out due to fever.

Sayuri lying on the floor. She mumbles something out ''...gods...''.

'eek!!Sayuri!!"I bend on my knees she was burning up.What to do?The nurse is too far from here.And the rain is still pooring"GUYS!Quickly,get her inside before she gets worse!!"

I look at Sayuri and say
"Oh? You like rain?"
I laugh maniacally and shoot water in the air, making it pour down loads of rain, each "drop" the size of a bucket. Unfortunately... since I suck at temperature, they were more like lava than water...
"OH CRAP! LET'S GO INSIDE BEFORE WE GET BOILED LIKE LOBSTERS"

Jon helped get Sayuri to the nurses office. He was worried for her and wasn't sure what to do. When everyone attention had turned elsewhere he made a snap decision. He quickly took his medallion off and placed it in his hand, forcing her fist around it with his own. The medallion glowed slightly as she began to stir and wriggle. He quickly took it back as the others began to notice her movement and placed it in his pocket. They were none the wiser. Her aura and the energy of the medallion had merged for a brief moment, the surge should help her recover. It would also help him later on. At least this way he could convince himself he wasn't being selfish.

As time drew close to the next class Jon decided to leave. He wasn't sure what the others would do, but he for one had done all the use he could. Final class of the day was Practical Application of Magic or as Jon called it "Ways to save money with magic". People were split into groups based on their element. He and his fellow earth elementals were put to the task of growing plants with their powers. A simple task, requiring little thought or power. He did his best to keep up covnersation but his mind kept wandering to poor Sayuri. He wondered if she would have gotten detention in this class too.

I sit near Sayus bed.The boys that were there helped carry her to the room and called the nurse.She just had a fever she should be fine tomorow,but I can't leave her like this..I'm gonna get yelled at for missing class though..

Sayuri opened her eyes, smiled and looked at Beato:''Stupid... Go to class... I don't want you to get in trouble because of me...'' Then she closes her eyes again because she was so tired and feverish. Then she mumbles:''Detention... Detention...''

'I can't just leave you all alone...what?..oh right...you have..."I took a big pause "detention....Well,I'll ask the teachers not to give you it since you are sick,I'm sure they will agree"I'm so dead..
I quickly ran towards the school to see those teachers.Unfortunetly,I was dragged to class by snother teacher my screaming and trying to fight them off didn't really seem to work..greath.

As his fingers hovered across the pot a grove of fresh grass began to sprout up. He was getting bored fast. This was too basic for him. Back at the order there was no kiddy stuff like this. His teacher, Ramon Adder, had made it clear to all students that if they were unable to preform they would be left to die. He hadn't been kidding either. Over the six years Jon had trained under him he had watch at least a dozen other students perish. Now that he thought of it, he had nearly perished too.

He had been just ten years old. One day he awoke to find he was not looking at his bed but the ocean. A brief moment of serenity turned to terror when he found he couldn't move his arms or legs. Then came that heavy morbid anger. And immediately he understood. From behind Ramons voice bellowed "Listen carefully runt. The tree you're strapped to was a weak piece of shit that couldn't survive here at the coast." He felt a heavy thud from behind and the tree began to rock back and forth "You will meet the same fate unless you can revive it." and then the voice stopped. No good luck. No reassurances. It was get by or bye bye. Jon had panicked. His attempts to bring life back to the tree were fruitless. He cried for help. Begged. Eventually he blacked himself out. When he awoke, he was strapped to an oak that stood 50 feet high.

The door opened at the back of the classroom. Jon looked and recognized Beatrice being escorted in by Ms. Carriage. She was kicking and screaming. Looks like this class may be interesting afterall.

"Please,my friend is sick and she has ditention so I h-"
"Well class is more important young lady.You wind users sure could use some manners"
"Racist much!?"The class began to laugh but they stopped when the teacher glared at them.She just hissed and left slamming the door.
I had no choice but to work with the other students of the same element.Basicly we just had to make some energy by ussing those mini windmills.I hope Sayuri is alright,when the bell will ring I'm going to the teachers office and noone will stop me!!

Sayuri tries to open her eyes from the sudden noise. She opened but barely so she couldn't see who it was. She asked:''Is someone there?'' Nobody answered. ''HEY! I ASKED SOMETHING!'' No answer. ''Maybe it was my imagination'' She closed her eyes and haired foot steps. But she couldn't open her eyes no more due to tiredness.''Who...'' she tried to ask but failed because she fell asleep.

The bell.I quickly ran towards the teachers office.But when I opend the door.SHUT IT!I..c-can't they are so scary...but Sayu...WAAAAH!!
I quickly oppend the door and "I'm sorry for intruding but you see my roommate Sayuri got sick and she has detention today so can she please be excused?!"I quckly bowed down freezing that way...
'Hmm..."
"Kids these days"
"Sure,I guess"
"THANK YOU!"I quckly shut the door and ran back around the corner falling on my knees,I feel like I just skipped a heartbeat..

Back at his room Jon removed his medallion from his pocket. As he held it in his hands he could feel it literally pulse with energy. Now it was imbued with both earth and fire auras. The energy flowed through the medallion and into Jons body. He began to think again of Sayuri. Hopefully the medallions power would lead to a swift recovery for her. He thought about going to see her, but decided she was better off resting. He'd visit her in the morning. For now he had work to do.

Sigh..Now that that is done.I will go cheak up on Sayuri she hasen't eaten yet though..I went to the cafeteria and asked the cooking lady Ms.Bigbutt if she can make some soup for her,she asked me what element she said when I said fire she smirked and warned me it will be spicy.After about half an hour the soup was ready it was really hot..I thanked miss Bigbutt and went to the dorm carefuly trying not to spill the soup.When I arrived the door was open"Maybe Sayu went to the bathroom?"When I walked inside she was sleeping like a baby.I put the soup on the cupbord and started to wake up Sayu..but alas no hope she was too sleepy."Hmm..what did big brother used to say when I woden't get up?..oh yeah!".I looked at Sayuri and said in a loud voice "IF YOU WON'T GET UP RIGHT NOW!I WILL STEAL YOUR FIRST KISS YOU SLEEPY HEAD!"

''NOT MY FIRST KISS!!!'' Sayuri wakes up yelling out loud. ''KYAA!'' screams. Sees Beato:''Oh... HEY! You scared me woman! How long have you been here though?'' Sayuri wondered because she remembered that she saw a black figure in this room.

"I just came in,I got you some soup"I smiled back.Took the spoon and stirred the soup to cool it of a little.Then offerd the soup to Sayu "Say Aaaa"I smiled at Sayu.

Jon wandered the forest looking high and low. God damn... the ancient texts list there being one seal of power in the grounds but it could have been a little more specific. He turned his head to the sky. It would be dark soon... he frowned and started heading back. Getting busted for staying out past curfew wouldn't do him any good, especially not on the first night. They had a study period tomorrow, perhaps he could find something useful in the library that would point in the right direction. Until then he needed rest. They say the first day was always the toughest, and for his sake Jon hoped that was true.

Sayuri opened her mouth saying :''Aaa'' receiving the soup in her mouth. She said:''YUM! I CAN ACTUALLY FEEL THE SPICE!!!'' Sayuri loves spicy food! But then she remembered:''Hey... Were you here like between the time of after lunch and now here?'' Sayuri asked seriously.

I looked at her confused"No..I was in class,did something happen?"Sayu looked so serious,maybe someone came but who?All the students were in class and noone except her was in the doorm,maybe a teacher?The nurse?Hmm..."Say,did you go out somwhere the door was wide open."

''I didn't. I was mostly asleep but I awoke after I heard a noise. Then I tried to open my eyes but all i saw was a black figure. I asked who was it but no answer and then I fell asleep. So i don't know who it was!'' Sayuri sighed while saying that a little bit worried.

..."Maybe it was your secret admirer,*giggle*that would be cute actually some boys do talk about you in class."I think this might cheer her up..but it looks like it just makes her go crazy."Hey!Don't spill the soup!"

When Jon returned to his room he expected to find Pepper who he, now that Jon thought it, had not seen since they had taken Sayuri to bed. Maybe Pepper was in class but if so Jon hadn't noticed. Perhaps he wasn't that noticeable when he isn't the center of attention. But Pepper was not here, nor was he in the bathroom. How odd. Pepper certainly hadn't struck him as the kind of person with the balls to ignore curfew on the first night. "Didn't think the kid had it in him... guess it just goes to show everyone has their secrets" he laughed as he removed his medallion and stored is safely among his things. He quickly nodded off, certain that tomorrow would bring good fortunes.

''Boys talk about me in class?!?'' Sayuri asks with a confused face. ''WHY?!? I'm not special at all! By the way how is Jon and Snotty guy?'' Sayuri asks with curiosity.
